u4gm Torvian Hand of the Saviour Battle Guide Path of Exile 2

When you step into the arena with Torvian, Hand of the Saviour, you’ll figure out pretty quick this fight’s more about staying alive than pumping out damage. If you get greedy, you’re dead. His first phase’s not too scary – you’ll see him wind up for this slow three-swing sword combo, easy enough to dodge through or back off from. The bit that’ll catch you off guard though is his ground slam. Big glowing circle on the floor – step in it and your health’s gone before you even notice. The second you see him lifting his weapon for it, move. Keep in mind those holy orbs he pops out too – they’re slow but they chase non-stop. No destroying them either, so your best play’s to kite them off to one side, give yourself breathing room to deal with Torvian away from the mess. Trust me, you’ll need all the space you can get if you’re hoping to farm PoE 2 Currency while practising on this fight.

You’ll have a rhythm going through phase one – dodge, reposition, chip at his health. It’s almost relaxing if you know his tells. But once you burn him to the halfway mark, the calm’s over. He speeds up, hits harder, and suddenly that consecrated ground doesn’t just chew through HP – it slows you. Now it’s not just painful, it’s a trap. You linger in it for even a second too long and you’re done. And just when you’re dealing with that, he whips out his divine beam. Thin streak of light first, then the blast. Don’t even think – just hit your dash or blink skill instantly. It’s one of those attacks that feels unfair ‘cause it’ll one-shot plenty of builds. That’s not even counting the angelic adds. They float in, don’t hurt much, but if you ignore them they start stacking up, heal him, and clog the place so you’ve no room to dodge properly.

Second phase is about juggling priorities. First, kill the adds as soon as they show. Seriously, clear them. Then, watch for the light markers on the floor – that means beam incoming. You’ll be weaving around orbs, dodging sword swings, and dealing with slow zones all at once.

Keep Torvian in sight but don’t tunnel vision – lots of people wipe here just because they’re so focused on him they don’t notice the lethal stuff happening under their feet. You’re going to spend a lot of time baiting attacks and looking for tiny openings for damage. Sometimes that means hitting him once or twice, then bolting. It’s a grind, but that patience pays off.

By the time you finally push him under, it’s not 'cause you went all in – it’s ‘cause you survived long enough to chip him down. Keep moving, never stand in the glowing ground, and use the whole arena to handle those tracking orbs.

If you’re aiming to farm or gear up, fights like this teach you discipline, and once you’ve got him down, you’ll feel the win was earned. If you need better gear to handle these mechanics more comfortably, you can always check out PoE 2 Items buy and prep yourself beforehand.
